a little about me...

Welcome to J Ferber Photography (formerly Sideline Photography Studio)!

I recently began to think of time, and our work, as a series of links - each day is linked to both our past and future.  One of the ways of making sure that those links keep connecting is by preserving moments today as memories for the future, especially in the art of photographs.

My focus is on the small to medium moments in family life - those special memories of both everyday and special times that are so important to remember and preserve. Recently, after my Dad passed away, I discovered some wonderful photos that he had taken.  Although I couldn't ask him about them, they are treasures that help me hold on to the amazing person that he was.

Pet and Horse Portraits are also a special part of family memories, as our animals are a special part of our families!  Whether a new addition or an old friend, our time with our companion animals is precious, and always too short.

I am an on-location, available light photographer. I come to your event or location, and we work with the resources available to create your best images and preserve your memories.

Most importantly, after your Photo Session is held, I edit, refine, and perfect your photos.  My goal is that your photo images are as clear and lasting as your memories!
