Class of 2016 Seniors: Now is the best time to do your Senior Portraits!
This school year is almost over, and senior year probably still feels a way off. But senior year, with all of its activities, will be here before you know it.
My top five reasons for doing your senior portraits now:
1. (especially to parents) Senior Year Confidence.
Having your senior portraits completed well before senior year will greatly boost your self-confidence as you begin this important, last year of high school. Girls, and I think guys too, really benefit from seeing themselves the way that others see them - beautiful, mature, accomplished. Beautifully done, professional portraits help seniors appreciate and like who they are, giving them a head start toward senior year and graduation.
2. You Have Time Now!
Summer is always so much busier than we thought it would be, and this one is the busiest - college visits, testing, family vacations, jobs fill the calendar. As soon as senior year begins, besides schoolwork, college applications loom. May and early June are the ideal time for all senior portraits, but especially for MCP - did you know MCP portraits are usually due in August? Senior portraits should be scheduled a minimum of six weeks before your school's due date, preferably two to three months, in order to allow for planning, editing, and your image selections.
3. This Is One Senior Requirement You Can Check Off Your List!
Most senior activities can only be done during senior year, but your portraits can be completed and off your to-do list much sooner. Sometimes deciding what to do for your senior portraits can seem daunting. I'll make the whole process easy and smooth for you. I'll help you plan locations and outfits, help you feel relaxed and confident during your seesion, and help you select the best images for you and your family, from your portraits for family, to graduation announcements, and your yearbook.
4. You Want to Have the Best Senior Portraits!
Senior year is once in a lifetime, and you want your senior portraits to reflect who you are, and be absolutely gorgeous (because you are!)! Senior portraits are an investment of time, money, and energy, so you want to make sure that you have the best possible experience. It's important to select a photographer who will listen to you, be flexible in planning your session (I offer exclusive locations, and include pets, horses, cars, etc.!) and help you be confident and successful. Most local senior portrait photographers schedule sessions at least two months in advance. Because I invest so much time into each of my clients' sessions and creation of their portraits, I limit the number of sessions scheduled per month. So if you think I might be the senior portrait photographer who's right for you, please call me as soon as possible - I don't want you to be disappointed because my schedule is full!
5. I'm Offering an Early Bird Bonus! and a Friend Bonus!
As an added incentive, for the next month, I'm offering an Early Bird Bonus!
Schedule your session to be held between now and June 20, and you will receive an added Print Credit of $100., good toward any type of portrait artwork!
Doing your senior portraits with a friend is a blast - you'll be even more relaxed and have lots of fun, and you'll each receive another added bonus of a portrait print of you together! (And parents, this is a great opportunity to get a beautiful photo of you with your senior. Grandparents welcome too!)
Parents, your senior is an amazing, wonderful person. Let me help you show them how much you value them by creating exceptional senior portraits, that both you and your senior will treasure forever.
